Babymoon-New York Style!

First stop Katz's Deli! We had to wait in line, but it was worth the weight for the yummy sandwiches.  Katz's Deli is where the famous scene from where "Harry Met Sally" was filmed.

We walked around Soho, and got ourselves a nice little treat from Dean and Deluca. Also found some Buddah hands.. you know how I love Buddah's.

We found a Texas bar to watch the Texas/Oregon Bowl Game... bad lost, but we still had a good time! Even cousin Michael came to watch with us!

We took a walk through Central Park to get to our hotel for New Years. We were reminded of the scene from Home Alone 2 when Kevin meets the bird lady.  Michael then took us to the top of the New York Athletic Club, where we saw a beautiful view of Central Park and the city.

Had to take advantage of the view for the 24 week pic!

We stayed at the Warwick Hotel for New Years Eve. It was magnificent, with the most amazing patio Ever!

And yes we did Panoramic, and I moved quickly to show the size of this thing!
Newsies time!! We saw Newsies on New Years Eve! It was one of the best Musicals I have ever seen! If you didn't know, I really wanted to see Newsies for my 30th birthday.. and since Baby Bracken will be arriving around then, that wish was not going to happen. But, my amazing husband surprised me and took me there on our Babymoon! On our way to see Newsies we stopped by Time Square, where people were already gathering around for the Ball Drop.  It was craziness! After we saw Newsies, we got to meet the cast, and get signatures. I met Jack Kelley, Davey, Crutchy and more! What an awesome experience!

He played Crutchy.

He played Jack Kelly... no Christian Bale, but definitely was amazing!

He played Davey.

Signatures!
We couldn't just go back without stopping for some New York pizza! We then had to brave the streets from all the ball droppers in the area!

New Years time!! We went to a great Italian restaurants right next to our hotel for dinner and dessert.  We then walked around the area, and tried to get a good spot for the ball.  We saw the ball, but wasn't able to see it when the ball dropped.  It was still awesome to see New York on New Years!!

The bright thing at the top... that's the ball.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!

New Years Day we walked from 53rd to 20th, and did some sightseeing. We went to the famous "Love" sign, Rockefeller Center, Time Square, Flatirons and had a nice 4 hour brunch with Aliya and Abby! So great catching up! It was a little cold, but such a nice walk!

Rockefeller Center

NBC Experience Store... FRIENDS!

There's that ball!

Our last day in New York we went to the TODAY show and braved the cold! We were filmed saying we were on our Babymoon, but it never aired!! We were shown in the background, so I guess that will have to do! From there we went to the Empire State Building and Serendipity, where we sat at Marilyn Monroe's favorite table (or so they said!).

There's the team.. they were freezing, go figure, so they were only out for a second!

There's Al! He seemed to be the nicest to his fans!

Carson thinking.

Jeff Daniels was there guest on the show.. looks a little different from his Newsroom character.

So high up!

We had the famous Ice Hot Chocolate! It was a pregnant woman's  dream!!

Look we are famous!!!

What a fabulous trip, all thanks to my amazing Husband!! Can't wait to take our little man back to New York one day to see all the amazing sights!!
